STEAM Days of Summer is Science World’s annual 5-day summer professional development learning program for BC educators. Participants delve into ways of teaching STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art & design, and math) using a cross-curricular approach while networking with colleagues.
Join your colleagues from the Lower Mainland for five full days of hands-on learning centred on STEAM education in your classrooms with cross-curricular focus. Each day you’ll participate in 3 dynamic sessions presented by a mix of your colleagues, Science World educators, and local organizations as we dive into different strategies for incorporating STEAM skills into your classroom.
Our theme for 2024 is "Innovation Through Experimentation!" Our cohort of teachers will spend the week exploring STEAM activities and strategizing how to best implement them when they get back to school in the fall.
