This year’s conference, “Classrooms to Communities: Rooted in Relationship,” welcomed over 325 educators and community members from across B.C. to the unceded, traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, for two days of professional learning and celebration.

We were so grateful to host extraordinary morning presenters, Rueben George and Kayah George, who gracefully welcomed us and shared their stories and inspirations. The energy from presenters and participants throughout the event was remarkable and engaging face-to-face sparked and grew relationships and community, from engaging workshops and immersive field experiences to vibrant social events. Feedback is pouring in about the deep sense of community, shared purpose and hope inspired by our time together.
