Join us to learn from award-winning, best-selling author and professional consultant Monique Gray Smith as she shares about her most recent published book, the adaptation of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s ‘Braiding Sweetgrass’ for the Young Adult audience.

Join Monique for this engaging workshop on how to share Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants with Young Adults. Monique is Cree, Lakota and Scottish, and is well known for her storytelling, spirit of generosity and focus on resilience. She has written eight books including Speaking our Truth: A Journey of Reconciliation, My Heart Fills with Happiness, You Hold Me Up, Lucy and Lola, Tilly: A Story of Hope and Resilience, and When We Are Kind.
